Hehehe, girl, you crack me up. Chopping it up was a self preservation thing. My eyes started to cross every time I went to search for something in it. Considering how much of it I created, I figured it if drives me that bonkers, what’s it do to those who didn’t have a hand in it? Pretty scary stuff, which is why I tell everyone to take it in small bites rather than looking at it as a whole.

Morning, Heather! Long winded is good. At least you’ve been blogging! I’ve neglected mine. I need to blog about Ellora’s Cave’s RomantiCon! I read Samantha Kane’s H4H book, TOMORROW. Loved it! Great story and really tweeked my interest in the H4H world. I plan to read the bible as soon as I finish edits on my latest EC book. Can’t wait!

Hi. Sounds like you’ve been hitting hard. It’s no fun, I hear you.
A couple quick two cents of my own, if I may.
#1 have you looked into a neti pot, or other nasal rinsing? Keeping the nasal passages clean can go a long way and is pretty low impact, once you get used to it.
#2 a close friend has had horrible sinus infections and had a ct scan and is discussing a procedure called balloon sinuplasty. From what she has heard it is supposed to be less of an ordeal than traditional surgery. That’s about all I know, not sure if it is right for you, etc. But it does sound interesting.

We all have ours ways of getting to where we are. Writing is a learning game. You’re always learning something new. Your writing is always changing. When I first started, I wanted to write cowboys, since that’s what I like reading the most, but once I got started, I quickly learned that scifi was the way to go—for me at least. I do love paranormals as well, but scifi is what talks to me the most.

I’ve always thought if I write anything it will be chick-lit, but having just started a writing course I am now not so sure. The course makes the participants try out all different genres of writing (fiction and non), so I’m really excited to see where my journey will take me. It’s so interesting reading how other people have got to where they are today!
